1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GLP1Safe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the tool. Continued use after any update to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

GLP1Safe is a physician-built clinical decision support aid for GLP-1 receptor agonist medications. It provides three clinician-directed modules and one informational quick guide:

• Safe Switch: Cross-agent dose equivalency calculations and switching protocols based on published conversion guidelines, with optional de-identified outcome tracking.
• KwikPen Incremental Dosing: Structured protocols for maintaining the lowest effective dose using the Zepbound KwikPen, the only FDA-approved GLP-1 RA pen format that supports precise sub-dose titration via incremental clicks.
• Restart After Break: Pharmacokinetic-informed re-initiation protocols based on break duration and prior dosing.

• Safety Review: Educational information drawn from publicly available FDA prescribing information to help users prepare for conversations with their physician.

GLP1Safe does not prescribe medications, dispense medications, diagnose medical conditions, or provide patient-directed dose recommendations.

3. Clinical Decision Support Disclaimer

The Clinical Tools modules are designed as clinical decision support aids within the meaning of the FDA’s guidance on Clinical Decision Support Software (January 29, 2026). They are intended to provide recommendations to a licensed healthcare professional who can independently review the basis for those recommendations.

• Display and analyze medical information derived from published clinical guidelines, FDA prescribing information, and peer-reviewed pharmacokinetic data.
• Provide recommendations to healthcare professionals, not directly to patients.
• Enable the healthcare professional to independently review the basis for any recommendation by displaying inputs, source references, and algorithmic logic.
• Do not process medical images, diagnostic signals, or laboratory results.
• Are not FDA-cleared or FDA-approved as medical devices.
• Do not constitute the sole basis for any clinical decision.

All dosing recommendations, switching protocols, and pharmacokinetic calculations are derived from published literature and population-level data. Individual patient response may vary. The healthcare provider is solely responsible for all prescribing decisions.

4. Clinician Attestation Requirement

Access to the Clinical Tools modules requires attestation confirming that the user is a licensed healthcare provider using the tool for clinical decision support. This attestation is a professional acknowledgment; it is not an authentication mechanism.

• They hold a current, valid license to prescribe medications in their jurisdiction.
• They will independently verify all outputs before applying them to patient care.
• They accept responsibility for all clinical decisions made using information from this tool.

5. Intended Users

GLP1Safe serves two distinct audiences with different regulatory frameworks:

Licensed healthcare providers access the Clinical Tools modules behind an attestation gate. These modules provide clinical decision support as defined by the FDA’s CDS exclusion criteria (21 U.S.C. Section 360j(o)).

General users access the Quick Guide, which provides educational information derived from publicly available FDA prescribing information. The Quick Guide does not make clinical determinations, does not assess individual suitability for any medication, and does not provide individualized medical advice. It is intended to help users prepare informed questions for their physician.

6. Data Practices

GLP1Safe does not collect, store, or transmit any patient-identifiable data. No names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, IP addresses, device identifiers, or other protected health information are collected. No accounts are required to use the tool.

All clinical parameters entered by the user (dose values, weight, medication selections, time-since-last-dose) are processed in real time and are not stored on any server. Data entered into the tool is cleared when the user leaves the page.

The tool’s architecture is designed to comply with HIPAA Safe Harbor de-identification standards (45 CFR Section 164.514(b)(2)).

7. Future Data Collection Disclosure

GLP1Safe may in the future offer a voluntary, de-identified switching outcomes registry. If implemented, this registry will:

• Collect only de-identified data points: switch direction (drug A to drug B), reason for switch, dose mapping, and 4-week outcome rating.
• Contain zero patient identifiers and be unlinkable to any individual patient.
• Require explicit opt-in consent from the clinician via a dedicated consent checkbox.
• Not be required to use any module.

This Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy will be updated before any data collection feature is activated.

8. No Provider-Patient Relationship

Use of GLP1Safe does not create, and is not intended to create, a provider-patient relationship between the user and MetaboLoop, GLP1Safe, or the tool’s developer. GLP1Safe is a software tool; it is not a healthcare provider, a medical practice, or a telemedicine service.

The Quick Guide provides educational information only. It does not assess, diagnose, treat, or determine suitability for any medication. Completing the Safety Review does not constitute a clinical encounter or medical consultation.

9. Informational Content Disclaimer

The Quick Guide presents safety information sourced from publicly available FDA prescribing information. This information is educational and general in nature. It does not account for your complete medical history, current medications, laboratory results, or other factors that only your physician can evaluate.

Any summary produced by the Quick Guide is intended to facilitate a conversation with your physician. It is not a clinical assessment, a medical recommendation, or a determination of medication candidacy.

10. User Responsibilities

• Use GLP1Safe only for its intended purpose.
• Not rely on any output as a substitute for professional medical evaluation.
• Not submit information belonging to another individual without that individual’s knowledge and consent.

• Independently verify all dosing recommendations, switching protocols, and pharmacokinetic calculations before applying them to patient care.
• Exercise professional clinical judgment at all times.
• Recognize that GLP1Safe’s outputs are based on population-level pharmacokinetic parameters and published guidelines; individual patient response may vary significantly.
• Not present GLP1Safe outputs as a substitute for their own clinical assessment.

11. Intellectual Property

GLP1Safe’s clinical algorithms, calculation models, and underlying software are proprietary and protected as trade secrets. All rights are reserved.

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the proprietary algorithms or calculation logic.
• Systematically collect input/output pairs for the purpose of reproducing the tool’s functionality.
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense any part of GLP1Safe.

Clinical data sources (FDA prescribing information, published guidelines, peer-reviewed studies) are cited for transparency and remain the intellectual property of their respective authors and publishers.

12. No Warranty

GLP1Safe is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Pharmacokinetic calculations are based on published population-level parameters and may not reflect individual variability in drug metabolism, absorption, or clearance. Dose equivalency data is derived from published conversion guidelines; exact equivalency between agents has not been established in head-to-head trials for all medication pairs.

MetaboLoop does not warrant that the tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MetaboLoop, GLP1Safe, and the tool’s developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of, or inability to use, GLP1Safe.

• Clinical decisions made using information provided by GLP1Safe.
• Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in dosing recommendations, switching protocols, or pharmacokinetic calculations.
• Reliance on any output without independent clinical verification.
• Temporary unavailability of the tool or any of its modules.

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if MetaboLoop has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Acceptable Use Policy

• Use GLP1Safe for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the tool, its servers, or its databases.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to access or interact with GLP1Safe at a rate that exceeds normal human use.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the proprietary pharmacokinetic algorithms or dose equivalency logic.
• Use GLP1Safe to provide medical advice to third parties outside of a licensed clinical relationship.
• Misrepresent GLP1Safe’s outputs as originating from a source other than GLP1Safe.

MetaboLoop reserves the right to restrict or terminate access for users who violate these terms.

15. Modifications to Terms

MetaboLoop reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be posted on the GLP1Safe website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of GLP1Safe after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Ontario.
